About The Author
Alan Lewis grew up on a small farm in Orange County, New York. After serving in the Navy during the Vietnam War, he returned home to pursue a teaching career. A graduate of SUNY Oneonta in elementary Education, he earned his master's degree in Education Administration from SUNY New Paltz.
Alan lives outside of Middletown, New York with his wife, two children and his Airedale dog, Spencer. Alan currently works as an assistant principal at a large elementary school located just one mile from where he grew up on the farm featured in this book In his spare time, Alan loves to fish and garden and hopes one day to figure out how his digital camera works.
